Upon placing insurance, the insurance broker HealthNet Finance provides its customers the following necessary information they need to know, so that the respective insurance company would acknowledge their damage claim.

• Do not leave/forget keys, documents or the radio equipment panel in the vehicle.

• In case you lose or have your locking device, remote control, registration certificate (ticket) or registration plates stolen, you must immediately inform the Control on Automobile Transport Service (CAT) and obtain an official document thereof. You must also notify your insurance company within 24 hours of the event.

• In the event of a minor road accident, you must immediately call CAT on 9824901 / 9824902 or dial 112 and require onsite visit. If CAT refuses to come, you must immediately inform your insurance company thereof and follow the instructions you will be given. In case you cannot reach your insurance company, you must fill in the bilateral written statement and register it by calling 9824901 / 9824902 or 112. You must notify your insurance company within 3 days of the event.

• In the event of a serious road accident, you must call CAT on 9824901 / 9824902 or 112. After CAT has issued a written statement of the event, you must inform your insurance company within 3 days of the accident.

• In the event of theft, you must immediately inform the Regional Police Department upon whose territory the theft has occurred. You must immediately inform both your insurance company and the firm which has marked the vehicle by calling them on the respective duty phone number from the police. Within 24 hours of the event you must declare the damage in writing at the insurance company.

• In the event of fire, you must immediately inform the Fire Service and require an official document thereof. You must notify your insurance company within 24 hours of the event.

• In the event of natural disasters, you need to call the Meteorological Service on 0900 12 015 and request an official document thereof. You must notify your insurance company in writing within 3 days of the event.

• At any rate, the damaged vehicle will be delivered for inspection to the insurance company liquidation center within 3 days of the event.

• Do NOT recover any damages of the vehicle before the inspection!

• In the event of incurred damage, you must take all possible measures to restrict it!

• Upon placing the insurance policy, you must always declare clearly and precisely the circumstances you are inquired about, or ask for advice when you are not sure what answers to give.

To claim damage, the insured person or their proxy need to submit the following set of documents:

• The insurance policy, including any issued appendices or supplements thereto;
• Written statement of the vehicle inspection conducted upon placing the insurance policy;
• Driving licence of the person who was driving the vehicle when the insured event occurred;
• Vehicle registration certificate;
• Certificate of annual technical inspection of the vehicle;
• Road accident written statement (in case the event occurred as a result of a road accident)
• Administrative breach certifying act (if there is such)
• Official document issued by the Ministry of the Interior/Regional Directorate of the Interior/Fire and Emergency Safety Service /Hydrometeorological Service (if the incurred damages refer to more than 5 elements, obtaining an official document from the respective institution is a must!)
